COVID-19 Salon Guidelines — Keeping you safe during COVID-19 - UPDATED 16/07/2021

Appointments

By Appointment Only.

We cannot accept ‘walk ins’, so please call on the day for Standby availability.

Appointments may take a little longer due to enhanced cleaning.

COVID-19 related screening questions will be asked of clients ahead of their appointment, including: –
1. Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
2. Do you have a high temperature?
3. Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?

If you have any of these symptoms, however mild, you should stay at home and reschedule your appointment.

What to expect in-salon

Face coverings are requested for customers to be worn for your appointment from 19th July 2021 (exceptions apply).

Hand sanitiser must be used on entry to salon.

2 meter social distancing is in place where practicable.

Single use of all gowns and towels.

Extra cleaning.

We will not be serving refreshments except water in disposable cups if required.

No magazines will be available.

We ask that you pay using card or cashless means where possible.

We will ensure adequate ventilation throughout the salon with doors and windows open where possible.

What staff are doing

Following Government Guidance.

Wearing Masks.

Using gloves when appropriate.

Cleaning and disinfecting all tools and surfaces in-between each customer.

All team members are trained to care for our customers in a safe, hygienic, and professional manner.

Staff have been briefed to not attend the salon if they have a temperature, or are feeling unwell or if any person in their household is unwell or is self-isolating.

We have undertaken a thorough review of our salon and services and carried out an extensive assessment of the risks posed by COVID-19.

We are happy to discuss any of your individual concerns, please feel free to call the salon or speak with a member of the team.

We review all our business changes on a regular basis. Government advice is changing as we learn more about COVID-19 and as we enter different phases of the lockdown measures. Any changes made are to be reviewed on a much higher frequency then those of a normal risk assessment to ensure the latest guidance is being followed.
